And I’m especially glad you picked this one, because Charleston and Summerville were home for a huge part of my life. Getting to send somebody back to my hometown for one of the best weekends of the year is pretty damn cool.

2027 marks the 50th anniversary of the Cooper River Bridge Run.
Fifty years of thousands of people voluntarily waking up before sunrise to run 6.2 miles over a giant bridge.

The rest of us will be drinking coffee and cheering for you from a safe distance.
AND THE FLOWERTOWN FESTIVAL
That same weekend is the Summerville Flowertown Festival, one of the biggest events of the year in my hometown.
Spring in the Lowcountry.

Historic Charleston.
Downtown Summerville.
Amazing food.
