OFFICIAL RULES

DBV Charleston Super Weekend Getaway Sweepstakes

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

These Official Rules govern the DBV Charleston Weekend Getaway Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"). By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding to the extent permitted by law.

1. SPONSOR

The Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered by:

DBV Enterprises
1318 North Main Street, #1126
Summerville, South Carolina 29483
("Sponsor")

The Sweepstakes is independently conducted by Sponsor.

The Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival, Cooper River Bridge Run, City of Charleston, City of Summerville, airlines, hotels, rental-car companies, social-media platforms, and any other third-party travel or event providers are not sponsors, administrators, or endorsers of this Sweepstakes and have no responsibility for its operation.

2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

No purchase, payment, donation, membership, subscription, merchandise purchase, or other financial consideration is required to enter or win.

Purchasing products from the DBV Nation merchandise store, purchasing any other product or service from Sponsor, following Sponsor on social media, subscribing to a paid service, or otherwise spending money with Sponsor does not increase an entrant's chances of winning.

All eligible entrants are permitted only one entry and have the same opportunity to be selected regardless of whether they have ever purchased anything from Sponsor.

3. ELIGIBILITY

The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry:

  • are United States citizens;

  • are legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia;

  • are at least twenty-five (25) years of age;

  • possess valid government-issued identification acceptable for domestic air travel;

  • possess a valid driver's license acceptable to the rental-car provider; and

  • are legally eligible under the rental-car provider's requirements to rent and operate the vehicle included with the Prize.

Employees, contractors, agents, representatives, and immediate family or household members of Sponsor who are directly involved in administering the Sweepstakes or selecting the winner are not eligible.

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on October 19, 2026, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on December 14, 2026 ("Entry Period").

Entries received before or after the Entry Period are not eligible.

Sponsor's website and associated computer systems will serve as the official timekeeping devices for purposes of determining whether an entry was timely received.

5. HOW TO ENTER

Eligible individuals may enter by completing and submitting the official Sweepstakes entry form located at:

https://thedadbodveteran.com/2027-charleston-super-weekend-giveaway

during the Entry Period.

LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON FOR THE ENTIRE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD.

Submitting more than one entry does not increase an entrant's chances of winning.

If Sponsor identifies multiple or duplicate entries submitted by or on behalf of the same individual, the duplicate entries will be deleted or disregarded and only one valid entry for that individual will remain eligible for the drawing.

Duplicate entries will not be treated as additional chances to win.

Entrants may not attempt to circumvent the one-entry-per-person limitation by using multiple email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, accounts, identities, devices, or other methods.

Automated entries, bot-generated entries, fraudulent entries, entries submitted using false information, or entries submitted through methods designed to circumvent these Official Rules may be disqualified.

No purchase or payment is required to submit an entry.

6. WINNER SELECTION

One (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

The drawing will take place on December 15, 2026.

The odds of winning depend entirely upon the total number of eligible individual entries received after duplicate and ineligible entries have been removed.

Selection as the potential winner does not constitute final confirmation of winning. The potential winner must first satisfy all eligibility, documentation, tax, and acceptance requirements described in these Official Rules.

7. THE PRIZE

One (1) winner will receive a Charleston, South Carolina travel package for travel from April 2, 2027 through April 5, 2027.

The Prize has an Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of $5,000.

The Prize consists solely of the following:

Round-trip domestic coach/economy airfare for the winner from a major commercial airport selected by Sponsor reasonably near the winner's primary residence to Charleston International Airport or another Charleston-area airport selected by Sponsor.

Hotel accommodations in the Charleston, South Carolina area for the nights of April 2, April 3, and April 4, 2027, with checkout on April 5, 2027. Hotel selection, room type, location, and booking arrangements will be determined by Sponsor.

One economy-class rental vehicle for the applicable travel period, with the rental company and vehicle selected by Sponsor.

Sponsor will arrange and pay for the base airfare, hotel accommodations, and economy rental-car reservation described above.

The Prize does not include cash and has no cash redemption value.

8. PURPOSE OF THE TRIP AND EVENTS

The travel dates coincide with the scheduled 2027 Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival and 2027 Cooper River Bridge Run.

The Prize, however, consists only of the transportation, lodging, and rental vehicle specifically described in these Official Rules.

Sponsor is not providing, purchasing, guaranteeing, or promising admission, registration, participation, tickets, reserved seating, parking, merchandise, food, beverages, race registration, or access to either event or to any other attraction or activity.

The winner is solely responsible for registering for, purchasing admission to, or otherwise arranging participation in any event or activity the winner wishes to attend.

9. NO GUARANTEE THAT EVENTS WILL OCCUR

Sponsor makes no representation or guarantee that the Flowertown Festival, Cooper River Bridge Run, or any other event, attraction, business, restaurant, or activity will occur, remain open, operate as scheduled, or be available during the travel period.

The events may be postponed, modified, relocated, limited, shortened, suspended, or cancelled for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • weather;

  • acts of God;

  • natural disasters;

  • government action;

  • public-health conditions;

  • security concerns;

  • labor disruptions;

  • road or bridge conditions;

  • emergencies;

  • actions of event organizers; or

  • circumstances beyond Sponsor's control.

Cancellation, postponement, relocation, or modification of either event does not entitle the winner to cash, substitute travel, additional accommodations, replacement tickets, reimbursement, compensation, or another prize from Sponsor.

The travel package remains the Prize regardless of whether either event occurs.

10. FIXED TRAVEL DATES

The Prize is intended for travel beginning April 2, 2027, with return travel on April 5, 2027.

The winner must be available to travel on the designated dates.

Except at Sponsor's sole discretion, travel dates may not be changed, extended, postponed, or substituted.

If the winner cannot travel during the designated dates, the Prize may be forfeited and Sponsor may, but is not required to, select an alternate winner.

11. AIR TRAVEL

Sponsor will purchase one round-trip domestic coach/economy airline ticket for the winner.

Sponsor will determine the airline, itinerary, departure airport, arrival airport, flight times, connections, and fare class.

The winner is responsible for all costs not expressly included in Sponsor's purchased airfare, including, where applicable:

  • checked or oversized baggage;

  • preferred seating;

  • seat upgrades;

  • early boarding;

  • airport parking;

  • ground transportation to and from the winner's home airport;

  • airport meals;

  • airline lounge access;

  • travel insurance;

  • flight-change charges requested by the winner;

  • expenses caused by missed flights; and

  • other personal expenses.

Airline tickets are subject to the airline's applicable terms, conditions, schedules, cancellation policies, and operating decisions.

Sponsor has no control over airline delays, cancellations, missed connections, diversions, schedule changes, mechanical issues, weather disruptions, or other airline operations.

If an airline provides the winner with a refund, credit, rebooking, or other remedy following a disruption, the winner must work directly with the airline regarding that remedy.

Sponsor is not obligated to provide additional compensation beyond the travel arrangements originally purchased.

12. HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Sponsor will select and pay for standard hotel accommodations in the Charleston, South Carolina area for the designated travel dates.

The winner is responsible for all incidental or additional hotel charges, including but not limited to:

  • room upgrades;

  • additional nights;

  • room service;

  • minibar charges;

  • parking charges not included in the reservation;

  • resort or destination charges not included in Sponsor's prepaid booking;

  • damage charges;

  • movies or entertainment charges;

  • telephone charges;

  • laundry;

  • food and beverages; and

  • other personal expenses.

The hotel may require the winner to provide a valid credit or debit card at check-in to cover incidental expenses.

Any security deposit, incidental authorization, or other amount required by the hotel is the winner's responsibility.

13. RENTAL VEHICLE

Sponsor will arrange and pay for the base rental of one economy-class vehicle during the designated travel period.

The winner must satisfy all requirements imposed by the rental-car company, including age, identification, driver's-license, credit-card, and rental-contract requirements.

The winner is solely responsible for all vehicle insurance and insurance-related decisions.

Sponsor does not provide automobile liability insurance, collision coverage, comprehensive coverage, personal accident coverage, roadside-assistance coverage, supplemental liability insurance, or any other insurance relating to the rental vehicle.

The winner is responsible for determining whether the winner's personal automobile insurance, credit card, travel insurance, or other coverage applies to the rental vehicle.

The winner is additionally responsible for any charges not expressly prepaid by Sponsor, including:

  • fuel;

  • tolls;

  • parking;

  • traffic or parking citations;

  • additional-driver charges;

  • optional insurance or protection products;

  • vehicle upgrades;

  • navigation equipment;

  • child seats;

  • roadside-assistance products;

  • cleaning charges;

  • late-return charges;

  • damage;

  • loss-of-use charges;

  • towing;

  • impound charges; and

  • any other incidental or supplemental rental charges.

The rental agreement will be between the winner and the rental-car provider.

Sponsor is not responsible for any accident, collision, injury, theft, loss, property damage, traffic violation, insurance dispute, rental-company claim, or other matter arising from possession or operation of the rental vehicle.

14. FOOD, BEVERAGES AND PERSONAL EXPENSES

No meals or beverages are included in the Prize.

The winner is responsible for all food, beverages, gratuities, entertainment, shopping, admission fees, event registrations, race fees, parking, attractions, tours, excursions, and other personal expenses.

Unless expressly listed in Section 7 as being paid by Sponsor, an expense is the winner's responsibility.

15. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is not included.

The winner is solely responsible for purchasing any desired travel insurance, trip-cancellation insurance, medical insurance, rental-car insurance, or other insurance.

Sponsor makes no representation concerning the availability, sufficiency, coverage, exclusions, or suitability of any insurance policy.

The decision whether to obtain insurance is entirely the winner's responsibility.

16. WEATHER, CANCELLATIONS AND TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS

Travel involves circumstances beyond Sponsor's control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor is not responsible for expenses, losses, damages, delays, missed events, or inconvenience arising from:

  • severe weather;

  • flight delays or cancellations;

  • airport closures;

  • road closures;

  • rental-car availability;

  • hotel disruptions;

  • government restrictions;

  • acts of God;

  • natural disasters;

  • illness;

  • emergencies;

  • event cancellation or postponement;

  • transportation disruptions; or

  • acts or omissions of third parties.

Acceptance of the Prize constitutes acknowledgment that Sponsor is providing the travel package as booked and subject to the rules and operating decisions of the applicable travel providers.

Sponsor does not guarantee that the winner will arrive in Charleston at any particular time or that travel conditions will permit attendance at any particular event.

17. NON-TRANSFERABLE; NO CASH VALUE

The Prize is awarded only to the confirmed winner.

The Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, and may not be sold, auctioned, gifted, bartered, or transferred to another individual.

The Prize may not be redeemed for cash.

If the winner declines the Prize, cannot use the Prize, is unable to travel, fails to satisfy eligibility requirements, or otherwise chooses not to take the trip, no cash payment, refund, credit, replacement prize, or other compensation will be provided.

Sponsor may select an alternate winner in Sponsor's discretion.

Unused portions of the Prize have no cash value and will not be refunded or credited to the winner.

18. BOOKING AND PRIZE CONTROL

All airfare, hotel, and rental-car arrangements included in the Prize will be booked and paid for directly by Sponsor or through a travel provider selected by Sponsor.

The winner will not receive $5,000 in cash or a $5,000 travel credit.

The stated $5,000 ARV represents the approximate maximum retail value of the overall Prize.

Actual costs may be less than the stated ARV depending upon airfare, hotel rates, rental rates, taxes, availability, and other factors.

The winner is not entitled to receive the difference between the actual cost of the Prize and its stated ARV.

Sponsor may make reasonable substitutions involving airlines, flights, hotels, airports, rental companies, or comparable travel arrangements when necessary because of availability or circumstances beyond Sponsor's reasonable control, provided that the essential nature of the Prize remains substantially the same.

19. TAXES; W-9 AND FORM 1099-MISC

The Prize constitutes taxable income to the winner to the extent required by federal, state, and local tax law.

As a condition of receiving the Prize, the potential winner must complete and provide Sponsor with a properly completed IRS Form W-9 containing the winner's legal name, address, and taxpayer identification number.

The potential winner must provide the completed Form W-9 within the deadline established by Sponsor.

Failure or refusal to provide a valid Form W-9 may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize, and Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

Sponsor will report the Prize to the Internal Revenue Service to the extent required by applicable law and expects to issue the winner Form 1099-MISC or any successor or other applicable tax form reflecting the reportable fair market value of the Prize.

The winner acknowledges and agrees that receipt of the Prize may result in taxable income.

The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, local, or other taxes arising from acceptance or use of the Prize.

Sponsor will not pay, reimburse, gross-up, or otherwise compensate the winner for any income-tax or other tax liability associated with the Prize.

Entrants should consult their own tax advisors regarding the tax consequences of accepting the Prize.

20. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION

The potential winner will be contacted using the contact information provided with the winning entry.

The potential winner must respond within five (5) calendar days after Sponsor sends the initial winner notification unless Sponsor specifies a different deadline.

Before being confirmed as the winner, the potential winner may be required to provide:

  • proof of identity;

  • proof of age;

  • proof of eligibility;

  • proof of U.S. citizenship and residency;

  • a valid driver's license;

  • a completed Form W-9;

  • a signed affidavit of eligibility;

  • a prize acceptance form;

  • a liability release; and

  • any other reasonable documentation necessary to administer the Prize.

If the potential winner fails to respond, fails to provide required documentation, is determined to be ineligible, refuses to complete the required Form W-9, declines the Prize, or cannot travel on the required dates, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected.

21. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By accepting the Prize, the winner voluntarily assumes the ordinary risks associated with travel, lodging, driving a rental vehicle, attending public events, participating in recreational activities, visiting unfamiliar locations, and engaging with third-party businesses and service providers.

The winner is solely responsible for evaluating whether the trip and any activities undertaken during the trip are appropriate for the winner.

Sponsor does not supervise the winner during the trip.

22. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant and winner releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor and Sponsor's owners, members, officers, employees, agents, contractors, representatives, affiliates, successors, and assigns from claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, or causes of action arising from or relating to:

  • participation in the Sweepstakes;

  • selection or non-selection as a winner;

  • acceptance, possession, use, misuse, or inability to use the Prize;

  • air travel;

  • hotel accommodations;

  • operation or use of the rental vehicle;

  • attendance at or participation in any event;

  • cancellation, modification, or postponement of an event;

  • personal injury;

  • illness;

  • death;

  • property damage;

  • vehicle accidents;

  • travel interruption;

  • weather;

  • acts or omissions of airlines, hotels, rental-car companies, event organizers, municipalities, or other third parties; or

  • any other aspect of the trip outside Sponsor's reasonable control.

Sponsor's responsibility is limited to administering the Sweepstakes in good faith and purchasing the airfare, hotel accommodations, and economy rental-car reservation described in these Official Rules.

Nothing in these Official Rules waives or limits liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.

23. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS

Airlines, hotels, rental-car companies, restaurants, event organizers, municipalities, and other businesses involved in the winner's trip are independent third parties.

Sponsor does not own, operate, supervise, control, or guarantee those businesses or organizations.

The winner is subject to all applicable terms, policies, rules, restrictions, and conditions established by those providers.

Any dispute arising from the performance or services of a third-party provider must be addressed with that provider, subject to applicable law.

24. FLOWERTOWN FESTIVAL AND COOPER RIVER BRIDGE RUN DISCLAIMER

The Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival and Cooper River Bridge Run are referenced solely to describe events scheduled to occur during the Prize travel dates.

Sponsor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of either organization or event unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Entry into this Sweepstakes does not constitute entry into the Cooper River Bridge Run.

Race registration, if desired, must be obtained separately by the winner and at the winner's expense.

Likewise, any paid activity, upgraded experience, parking, transportation, merchandise, food, or other expense connected with the Flowertown Festival is the winner's responsibility unless Sponsor expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

25. GIVEAWAY INTEGRITY AND DUPLICATE ENTRIES

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who Sponsor reasonably determines has attempted to manipulate, interfere with, circumvent, or compromise the legitimate administration of the Sweepstakes.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

Duplicate entries will be identified and removed or disregarded before the drawing. Filing duplicate entries does not provide additional chances to win.

Attempts to evade the one-entry limitation through different email addresses, phone numbers, accounts, identities, devices, automated systems, aliases, or other methods may result in disqualification of all entries associated with that entrant, at Sponsor's reasonable discretion.

Additional prohibited conduct includes false information, hacking, tampering, bot activity, automated submission systems, or other attempts to obtain an unfair advantage.

If technical problems, fraud, unauthorized intervention, legal restrictions, or events beyond Sponsor's reasonable control materially impair the administration or integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes to the extent permitted by law.

If the Sweepstakes is terminated after eligible entries have been received, Sponsor may select a winner from eligible entries received before termination if doing so is lawful and reasonably practicable.

26. WEBSITE AND TECHNOLOGY

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or undelivered entries caused by internet failures, telecommunications issues, website outages, server errors, software errors, browser incompatibility, transmission problems, or other technical conditions outside Sponsor's reasonable control.

Proof of attempted submission does not constitute proof that Sponsor received an entry.

27. PRIVACY

Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used for administering the Sweepstakes, verifying eligibility, communicating with entrants and potential winners, satisfying tax and legal requirements, and awarding the Prize.

Sweepstakes entry does not automatically constitute consent to receive commercial email or marketing messages unless the entrant separately provides such consent.

Marketing consent, where offered, will be separate from the free Sweepstakes entry.

28. PUBLICITY

Except where prohibited by law, the confirmed winner agrees that Sponsor may announce the winner's first name, last initial, city, and state in connection with announcing the results of the Sweepstakes.

Any additional use of the winner's image, likeness, voice, photograph, or testimonial for advertising purposes will be subject to any consent required by applicable law.

29. SOCIAL-MEDIA DISCLAIMER

If the Sweepstakes is advertised or promoted on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, or any other social-media platform, it is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with those platforms unless expressly stated otherwise.

Entrants release those platforms from responsibility associated with administration of this Sweepstakes to the extent permitted by law.

30. GOVERNING LAW

Except where prohibited or superseded by applicable law, these Official Rules and disputes arising from the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived or superseded by these Official Rules remain applicable.

If any portion of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

31. WINNER'S LIST

After the winner has been confirmed, Sponsor may publish the winner's first name, last initial, city, and state on thedadbodveteran.com and/or Sponsor's social-media channels.

Sponsor will provide winner information when required by applicable law.

32. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES
